Literature Text

The month of August
Drew to an end
Goodbye, I said
To a lifelong friend
I will not see him
Never again

I watched him go
I stood there alone
His was voice low
Goodbye, said he

Then she came
Pale faced, yet dark
Her eyes like pits
Death was her name.

I cried that night,
And I cried the day
When it was time
To put him in his grave
The coffin was shut,
I’d never again see his face

I cursed the girl
Who led him away,
For if it were not for her
He’d be here still to this day.

Sometimes I go
To visit his grave
Though it only causes me pain
I read the tombstone
Here’s what it says:

“Loving friend
Cherished son
Taken too soon
At the age of 21”
Yes. My horrid attempt at poetry o_o Its not based on any actual event or death of anyone I know. Its just something I made up at 3 am in the morning.

The girl in the 5th part is death, if you were wondering.

Death can be beautiful and nobody says it is not... Death can be an inspiration as well .. It's all or nothing ... Btw, I guess You mentioned whom the girl was in the 3rd part ;) ... Anyway.. You're talented and what is more . . . inspirational ...

Blessed Be
